Just a day after they are born, wood ducks must take a leap of faith and jump from their nests to the ground below. This can be up to a 65' drop. They are so light that they simply seem to float down. That’s a pass for me, but a pretty cool fact. Also, the colors. This bird is STUNNING. 

Comprised of 3 red Howlite for the eye, multi Tiger eye, purple Tiger eye and Zebra jasper for the head and stripes, Woodgrain Jasper, blue tiger eye and brow jade for the body and back and facted Chrysopase for the tail
