G is for Girl

Girls throughout history have been told to be shiny, sweet and perfect. History has shown us, though many different lenses, that there is another, more vibrant side, to what it means to be a girl. The gritty, giving, gifted, gallant, gracious, grounded, gumptious: G is for Girl.

Now featured in the gift collection at the Minnesota History Center for the Smithsonian Exhibit "Girlhood: It's Complicated", on display September 2024-June 2025.
